10 DIY Lip Balm
1- Watermelon Lip Balm
Ingredients
4 tablespoons beeswax grated
2 tablespoons coconut oil
2 tablespoons cocoa butter
1 teaspoon watermelon essential oil
1 teaspoon vitamin E oil
1-In a double boiler, heat beeswax, coconut oil, and cocoa butter until melted.
2- Reduce the heat once melted and add in the watermelon essential oil and vitamin E oil.
3-Whisk to combine everything then transfer into lip balm tubes. allow to set and harden before using.
2-Honey Lip Balm
Ingredients
4 teaspoons beeswax pellets
3 teaspoons coconut oil
1 teaspoon honey
5 drops peppermint essential oil
1-in a double boiler over medium heat, melt the beeswax, coconut oil, and honey. stir to combine everything.
2-once melted, reduce the heat to low and whisk in essential oil. use a pipette to transfer into containers.
3-Tinted Lip Balm
Ingredients
4 tablespoons beeswax
4 tablespoons cocoa butter
4 tablespoons coconut oil
1 1/2 teaspoons iron oxide
1-in a melt pot, mix together beeswax, cocoa butter, and coconut oil. melt over medium heat while stirring to combine all ingredients.
2-stir in the iron oxide. mix until well- combined. use pipette to place in lip balm tins.
4-Cocoa Butter Lip Balm
Ingredients
2 tablespoons beeswax
2 tablespoons cocoa butter
2 tablespoons sweet almond oil
10 drops of vanilla oil
10 drops vitamin E oil
1- place the beeswax, cocoa butter, and sweet almond oil in a double boiler. heat until the mixture has melted completely. add vanilla and vitamin E oil. mix until combined
2- use a pipette to transfer into lip balm tins or tubes.
5- Peppermint Lip Balm
Ingredients
2 tablespoons beeswax pellets
2 tablespoons coconut oil
3 tablespoons sweet almond oil
5 drops peppermint oil
5 drops vitamin E oil
1-in a double boiler, heat the beeswax, coconut oil, and sweet almond oil until melted. add peppermint oil and vitamin E oil
2-transfer to lip balm tubes. allow to set and harden before using.
6-Lip Balm with SPF
Ingredients
2 tablespoons coconut oil
1 tablespoon olive oil
5 wafers of cocoa butter shredded
1 1/2 tablespoons beeswax 1 teaspoon raspberry seed oil
10 drops of your favorite essential oil
1- in a double boiler melt coconut oil, olive oil, cocoa butter, and beeswax.
2- remove from the heat and add raspberry seed oil and your favorite essential oil.
3- while still warm, use pipette to fill lip balm tubes with the mixture.
7-Rose Lip Balm
Ingredients
2 tablespoons beeswax grated
2 tablespoons coconut oil
1 tablespoon almond oil
5 drops of rose essential oil
1 tablespoon rose water
1- in a double boiler add the beeswax, coconut oil, and almond oil. once melted add rose essential oil and rose water. whisk until combined.
2-use a pipette to transfer the mixture into lip balm tubes.
8-Coconut Oil Lip Balm
Ingredients
4 tablespoons coconut oil
4 tablespoons jojoba oil
4 tablespoons beeswax
2 tablespoons shea butter
1-in a double boiler, melt all ingredients, once melted turn off the heat.
2-use a pipette to transfer the mixture into lip tint tubes.
9-Orange Lip Balm
Ingredients
4 tablespoons beeswax
4 tablespoons coconut oil
1 table spoon honey
15 drops orange essential oil
1-melt the beeswax, coconut oil, and honey. once melted add the orange essential oil.
2- mix to combine. transfer to lip balm tins.
10-vanilla Lip Balm
Ingredients
4 tablespoons avocado oil
4 tablespoons shea butter
4 tablespoons beeswax
2 tablespoons coconut oil
1 teaspoon vitamin E oil
3 drops vanilla extract
1-in a double boiler, melt the avocado oil, shea butter, beeswax, and coconut oil. blend until combined.
2-once melted add the vitamin E oil and vanilla extract. pour into lip balm tins.
